Aww. This makes me sad. I never much fangirled Jennifer Lawrence, but I liked her well enough. :(

That's the comment that I think should be the bigger uproar. That one seemed just nasty and mean rather than frustrated, especially seeing as it was written after the comment that the patient had had a stillbirth.
Yes. Belle was valued because of her principles, bravery, and intelligence.
Except, don't they do things like provide hip-replacements and treat broken bones for prisoners, even those who are murderers? That's not a life-saving procedure, but it is medically necessary. That's the category that SRS is being classified as. I don't see people protesting and appealing hip-replacements and it's…
The problem is his "we don't care" was followed by him saying that it's because those people can't take personal responsibility for their lives. "And so my job is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives." Also, dismissing people…
"and no, he will not be voting for Romney this November, so marital discord averted..."
"you're using your vote to say money matters more to you than marriage equality, fair pay, reproductive choice, etc."
Thanks! When I have a spare few dollars, I'll definitely hit the bookstore(or, rather Amazon, which has the Riverside one listed at around $80 new, under $40 used. Yay! for saving money!). And as often as I end up on Cracked.com I never would have thought to use them as a resource for Shakespeare stuff! I'd love any…
Again, did not know that. I knew the about the peasants standing in front, but did not know about the seats behind. On my one trip to the Globe, I was sitting, but in view of the stage. And how come I never learned this cool stuff in my (only) Shakespeare class in college!? Do you, by chance, have any good book…
That tidbit about the bed is totally cool. Thanks.
?? I use an e-ink, not a tablet...
Well, since my e-ink Kindle lasts about a month on a full charge, it's not that bad.
And I wait a lot, because I don't drive.
I think they already exist? Or someone was trying to do something similar? It confused me. Plus, I don't usually do book signings so it wasn't much of an issue for me.
I don't get the hate on for technology, especially ereaders. But beyond that, I have access to the world of information through my phone. How is that a bad thing? I get curious at the slightest thing, out comes the phone and wikipedia. Boom. Knowledge.
I've heard great things about the Nook.
That's how I feel about 90's era historical romance novel covers. The ubiquitous Fabio-style hero and overflowing bosom of the heroine always makes me want to facepalm. Modern covers tend to be less...lurid.
Options are the best!
As much as I love my e-ink reader, I think more people will be reading on things like the iPad or the Fire. E-books do not need an e-ink reader, and tablets will likely be the more common device in the future for reading. I like my e-ink, but I read a lot and appreciate its long battery life. Someone who buys the…
I would love this! I love the way books look in a house. Not that I'd have the space for more of them. I have, literally, about 20 boxes of books in a basement right now, because I have no room for them. When I can afford to move out of my parent's house, I have no idea how'll I'll fit them all, since I'll likely be…
