This is on my list to watch for the same reasons mentioned in the article, and because several fellow plus size people have recommended it using that same word — “safe.” I’m also kind of worried I’ll just cry through the whole thing, because even this article is making me tear up. Representation matters.

Bad taste, but actually funny. People always allow for bad taste jokes if they’re actually funny, and her joke wasn’t.

Police are measured the same way you likely are for your job - by tick marks. In their case the primary tick mark is arrests and closed cases.

No matter which it may be we know his kid is going to have some baggage with to deal with.

That was far worse than I thought it was going to be, jesus christ on a cracker. Who even calls themselves their child’s boyfriend? Even in bizarro world jest? What the actual fuck?

everything about this stupid-looking movie sounds totally up my alley except for Jared Leto, who I never want to see again in any context for the rest of his life

Personhood bills also violate the Establishment Clause because in Judaism, we don’t believe a fetus is a person until they are born. But I imagine they don’t care about that.

I have sympathy for anyone struggling, that being said, it seems she lacks taking responsibility for her actions like many alcoholics. She admittedly took medication and alcohol to the point where she blacked out but seems to feel she is the victim of the mom who took to Twitter and her now former friend. She even thro

Sorry about your boyfriend :(

Meh, there’s a lot of good ideas in there, but it doesn’t really have to be either/or.

This country is broken. Anyone cheerleading the moves by Citi, Bumble, and Salesforce is egging on companies to pursue private solution to what is a public health problem.

I don’t see “murder them and bury their body in the desert” on here, so this list is pretty suspect.

But they are paying for it. I share an account with my mother (separate residences). When I gave her a roku and added her, I specifically asked if that was OK. They said yes, because I paid for 2 simultaneous devices and they didn’t care where they were. Now they are saying they may move to a system where we can share

So what you’re saying is no one should take any measures to mitigate the damage of these policies for at least some people, until a general solution is found to stop states from being able to adopt these policies in the first place? Are you also against companies that offer maternity leave even though it’s not

You act as though I’m not getting any benefit even though I described them. You’re not willing to ever exert more effort to do something in a way that just works better for you just because it also benefits a company?

You really end up going two ways with this sorta act where you act all extreme and scary. You either turn out to be a giant teddy bear type who knows this is all silly shit and you end up doing Staple commercials.  Or you actually buy the stupid shit you are selling and go full on creep weirdo.

I’m willing to take on those costs - I don’t mind the extra work of scanning my groceries if it means I don’t have to interact with the cashier and wait in the line of people with tons of items in their cart (plus I get to organize my bags how I want more easily). That the store benefits too doesn’t bother me.

yeh what a bunch of losers! it’s not like they are the first and only all-woman band to write and play on a US number one album.

I respect her decision a lot, although I would argue that country music and rock ‘n roll have been strongly linked for a long time - it’s been a long time since Gram Parsons died. As far as I’m concerned, Dolly is part of rock ‘n roll.

Yeah, I’m not sure the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has earned Dolly Parton.
