I’m gonna need to see a picture of Bucky the pitbull/chihuahua.

Did you ever think about why they resist? Because, historically, police (which was started as a way to track down escaped slaves who were, you guessed it, black) have harmed or killed black people they have taken into custody, even if the person didn’t resist. So, resisting (especially running) gives them a better…
No. That is not OK. This was not a justified shooting. This does nothing to prove your case. You are an idiot, racist asshole.
It’s not even the training, because they do get use of force training that says that force and, especially, deadly force are to be used as a last resort. The problem is the culture of law enforcement that says that police are the ultimate power and it’s them against the world and no matter what your fellow officer…
Quit pretending like you don’t know what they are saying. And quit pretending like you aren’t supporting the cops killing people for nothing but disobeying.
It’s one thing to acknowledge the fact that cops are unusually willing to kill black people who do not obey them. It’s a whole other thing to say it in a way that condones the death penalty for people who are unarmed and not dangerous and all they did was disobey or take too long to follow commands. Or, you know, did…
But, they announce casting for Marvel movies all the time before the movies are even shot, so how is knowing that Charlize Theron is in a Marvel movie a spoiler? Even knowing she is in Doctor Strange before seeing the movie isn’t a spoiler. Now, I can see how her IG post would be for people who are familiar with the…
Living in a small town, one thing I’ve learned is that the small restaurants aren’t online. Or, maybe they are on Facebook, but there’s little info and the last post is from 6 months ago.
There was only one bit of CGI in this movie that pulled me out and that was when America was running away from the octopus with one eye. One of the tentacles behind her looked weird. Otherwise, it was fine for me.
I tend to sit back and let movies--especially Marvel movies--take me for a ride. I seem to have more fun watching movies doing that. So, I enjoyed the movie quite a bit. It’s not my favorite Marvel movie, but I liked it.
According to what I have read on the internet, you will not be disappointed. The people who lean more Marvel don’t like it because of Sam Raimi. The people who lean more Raimi love it because of him.
Unless you can find a universe where Thanos lost before he got all the stones or never came, he kinda has to be.
Ooh, I love the idea of Matthew Rhys and Kerri Russell! They are fantastic (ha!) anyway.
I will agree, however, with the author’s confusion about WandaVision. Because it did feel like, at the end of that, Wanda had worked through a lot of her grief and come to grips with it and also with what she did to the people of that town. It makes her motivations and actions in the movie not make a lot of sense.
So, I don’t read the comics, so I don’t know anything about America Chavez except the little bit I’ve read before the movie. So, what was wrong with the way they portrayed her?
Unless you get everyone out and then force the red states out of the Union, you’re just going to make it worse for the entire nation by getting all the blue out of the red states. We have to get rid of the filibuster, gerrymandering, and voter suppression laws. We have to make voting easier so that more people can do…
The problem you don’t see is that what those states are affects the entire nation. Do you really think it’s going to end at, “Well, each state can decide for themselves”? Just giving up and leaving it to them is how they will win and we will all live in a conservative Christian dystopia.
See how it feels?
Not to mention that most red states have a lower cost of living than most blue states. I could be living here in Oklahoma making enough money to afford a nice place to live, be paying a lot less than blue states for gas, so I can drive more places, have enough money to go out to eat or to the movies occasionally, but…
But that isn’t what anyone is saying. They are saying not to tell people in red states to just move. Because those who can have already thought about it and are in the process or decided to stay and fight and those who can’t aren’t helped in any way by being told to just move.
