My dad, who is now 77, was a computer programmer and he used to send me emails in the 90s that just said “ping.” So, yeah, really not new.

Thank you, especially to the last part. I’m not a Boomer! I’m Gen X. You’re not even supposed to notice me.

A few years ago, my nail tech believed me when I said I was 25. It was my birthday and I said I was turning 25 as a joke. A few months later, her 21st birthday was coming up and I said, “I’ll give you money to buy a drink on me because I probably can’t keep up with you kids” and she said, “You’re only 4 years older

I mean, you’re acting like there is no solution but to read it when it posts or never read it again because you can’t remember or can’t find it when several people have given you solutions to that issue. You’re “issue” is really not one because bookmarking has been a thing since forever.

You could always bookmark it, which is what I did. I just watched the episode today and I had this article bookmarked to read after I watched it.

The problem isn’t the politicization, nor the person whose death is being politicized, but that any vaccinated person’s death from COVID is being used to spread misinformation and lies. It just happens to be Colin Powell.

I mean, they domesticated themselves by eating our leftovers. Anything that’s healthy for you and not on the poisonous for dogs list (like onions and grapes) is fine. You should avoid giving them sugary foods and fatty foods because their bodies can’t really handle that stuff much. A lot of people make their own dog

I have a friend who makes little pumpkin pies (just crust and the pureed pumpkin) for her dogs at Thanksgiving and Christmas. She has a local pet baker, too, so on their birthdays they get doggie cupcakes AKA pupcakes.

I should have been more specific on that, although there are more veggies they are able to eat than not (some may give them bad gas, though, which is really bad if they sleep with you.) I do the same before I give any of our dogs anything new. (You have to read why, too, because sometimes it says, “The seeds are bad”

I remember when everything was changing to CDs and vinyl was dying and I said, “But, I’m going to miss the pops and hisses.” And I still do, a little.

My mom had cancer several years ago (she is cancer free now) and lost a lot of weight because of it (not just the treatments, but it was throat cancer, so she couldn’t eat. Had to put Ensure through a feeding tube that went directly into her stomach.) People complimented her a lot. She’s a Boomer, so the way she was

The only thing I would say is that it depends on how they are losing the weight and how they are being about it publicly. It would appear that Rebel has done nothing publicly to promote any kind of unhealthy weight loss service, so her weight loss is her personal thing and none of my business. But, some celebrities

I was going to make a comment about that, too. They have pretty much opposite meanings, Meghan!

It’s probably better to give them none. A lot of pet stores have dog cookies that are not factory made and are basically the same as cookies we eat minus the sugar (and no fake sugar) and, obviously, no chocolate. Our dogs love them.

Why do you have to be gay or trans or non-binary or anything but straight to enjoy wearing clothing that is generally not accepted for your presented gender to wear? I knew a guy who was straight and cis and only wore dresses on his off time because he liked wearing dresses. Why is that considered appropriation?

Which isn’t the same as doing it because it’s the thing to do. Billy Porter does it because it’s something he likes to do. He has other reasons behind it, too, but the primary reason is because he likes to do it.

I think he has a point in the difference between how he has been treated and how Harry has been treated and I agree it has to do with Harry’s race and assumed straightness.

That always makes me laugh because the dressing up like ghouls and goblins and such was *started* by superstitious Christians who believed that the veil between the living and dead was lifted on Halloween and you had to dress like one of them so they didn’t get you.

The one that did it for me was in a religion class in college where I learned about Constantinople and how they chose what went in the bible. Pretty much just leaving shit out because they didn’t like it or it was written by a woman. I still considered myself a Christian for a long time after that, but I didn’t use
