It seemed to me that, coupled with the statement about his wife’s needs, he was using it as a reason why he shouldn’t go to prison.

Wow. That is some witchcraft kind of shit. So many Christians went nuts about Harry Potter because it glorifies witchcraft (and the bible actually has a part saying not to practice witchcraft, which is also hilarious, given this) and *this* is in their manual.

We all make choices that one day we might regret. I have a few that I regret now and a lot more that I’m glad I made. Most of those decisions, no one harps at you about potential regret. Having a baby, though, it’s relentless. Some people regret having children. I would rather regret not having children than regret

She assumes that every woman who gets pregnant who would have had an abortion were it legal, would decide to a) not have an illegal abortion or b) have the baby, keep the baby, and happily raise the baby with no issues in pursuing a career as a mom, much less as a single mom, as many of them would be. I certainly

The reason they were used for dog fighting (well, not the only reason, but a big one) is their loyalty and wish to please their humans. Sometimes a human will need to get in the ring and stop the fight and they needed the dogs to be willing to do what the human wanted them to do and to not attack the human. (Please

“...especially considering the potential severity of a pit bull attack.”

I used to watch this show on HGTV called Holmes on Homes. This guy, Mike Holmes, would go to a house where the people were having horrible problems. Sometimes a new build, sometimes just an add on or reno. Anyway, he would find horrible mistakes and shortcuts that caused serious issues. And he fixed them. Some of them

Way back when I was first in the military, we had MREs that had mini Mars Bars in them. I think it was the corned beef hash. I always tried to make sure I got that one (or, if there was more than one, as many of them as I could.) Sometime during my service, they stopped putting the Mars Bars in there. :(

I should have read further. I just posted this, too (albeit without the breed name and the ravaged by disease part.)

Did you know that fake banana flavoring is based on a banana breed that no longer exists? That’s why banana flavored candy doesn’t taste like the bananas we have today. Nevertheless, I still love banana flavored Laffy Taffy.

I’m from OK and I know what they are, but I suspect many people do (did) not and that’s why it was the most searched.

Yeah, the only way that is happening is if the person giving out the candy accidentally buys real candy that looks like their edibles and then puts them too close together by the door.

QT is the best convenience store in the world. No one can change my mind.

Whatchamacallits are better. (I probably spelled that wrong.)

Nobody trick or treats in the panhandle because nobody lives there. OK, maybe 10 people do. Seriously, though, the OK panhandle sucks and gets the worst weather, especially in the winter.

I’m OK with bomb detecting dogs, too.

I feel like kids seeing someone like her going through this will help make them not feel like they are alone and like they don’t have to hide it and can ask for help if they need it and I think that’s a really good thing.

I suspect they do something where the spectators have cards in the school colors and some have blue and some have white and when the cheerleaders hold up the sign that says your card color, you hold up your card and it makes some kind of design.

Totally irrelevant, but my best friend and I used to play Batman all the time, too. We incorporated the 60s TV show (it was the mid 70s and it played in reruns) as well as the cartoon. My sister got to be Bat Mite.

Every single thing we do (especially what we make laws and rules about) has the possiblity of turning into a slippery slope. It’s not like businesses don’t already have rules for their employees that their jobs are contingent upon. This is why the slippery slope argument is stupid. If it is something that is
