My argument to anti-choice people is that being against abortion is a moral argument and, not only that, but a religious argument and the government should not be legislating morality/religion. Therefore, abortion should be illegal with no caveats.

The only problem is that a lot of people live in states that would ban abortion and can’t move for various reasons. If it were easier, I would totally agree with you.

If I were on a jury, I still would vote to acquit based on the information we currently have. We’re not all silent.

Honestly, if I actually thought bullying would get them to get the vaccination, I wouldn’t be above it.

I mean, average citizens who work serving alcohol are asked to enforce the law that only those over 21 be served all the time. And they do that by asking for proof. Same with those who sell cigarettes. The only difference here is that the entitled babies are used to those laws and they also just had 4 years of being

Honestly, most of the HBO shows I watched were only available on HBOMax and not through the channels. The only thing for me was that my HBO channels subscription allowed me to get HBO Max and sign in through Amazon. So, it’s not a lot different for me.

A) I didn’t say it was the most disturbing part. I said it was more disturbing than people defending this guy.

I mean, there’s a reason he’s the only original judge left on there. He can probably make more money doing that and the occasional guest spot than making new albums and touring. And he doesn’t have to work as hard.

The fact that everyone here is ready to grab the torches and pitchforks and go hunt this guy down with very little evidence of what happened (we don’t even know that she was murdered yet) is a lot more disturbing to me and it makes me mourn for our justice system. This shit is why there are so many innocent people in

Honestly, I only started watching it because I told myself, “I can tolerate Andy Samberg because of Andre Braugher and Terry Crews.” I’m glad I decided that.

So, this title was confusing at first because we have an actual event called Rocklahoma. It’s a heavy metal music fest in Pryor, OK. It took me a sec to realize you were just being alliterative.

The moving doesn’t bother me too much, but the kids being their sole source of income does. It also tells me the kids don’t have as much say in when they quit as the end of this article says they do. I mean, sure, legally they do, but the parents would surely put a lot of pressure on them to keep going if either of

God, I hope you never end up on a jury.

That is not at all the same. First, in your scenario, there is evidence of a potential crime—the burned down house. Second, reeking of petrol and an open box of matches are actual evidence.

Yes, I want to play the doubt card. Because there is a shit-ton of reasonable doubt here. There is zero evidence that he did anything, especially since we don’t even know if a crime was committed.

There is no evidence he is unemotional and robotic. Not speaking to police and letting everything go through his lawyer doesn’t mean he isn’t emotional. It’s possible to be upset about her being missing and still have self-preservation.

The police are never on your side and years of watching ID has shown me that they don’t really care much about truth or justice, just about closing their cases.

We put way too much stock in “Well, the person isn’t acting the way most people would act in this situation or in a way that I would find normal, so they are probably guilty.” I see it all the time on ID. The police hone in on a person because they don’t like the way the person acted. That’s not evidence.

It seems possible she took off or did something to herself and, especially in the second case, he may be traumatized by it and can’t bring himself to talk about it. But, he also hired a lawyer, which is a little more clear-minded than if my scenario were true. I can, however, see him not wanting to tell her parents if

That is an amazing podcast.
