Nobody (except mainly Eagles fans and probably Washington fans, but that’s rivalry) hated them until the 90s and suddenly it became popular to hate them and now people hate them just because. Nobody really has a good reason to hate them, it’s just popular, so they do. I mean, sure, Jerry Jones, but even fans hate him.

What’s weird to me is all this new casting when they’ve already filmed a huge chunk of the movie. They just wrapped up filming in Pawhuska like a week ago.

I remember finding out that on House Hunters, the house they end up picking is the house they already bought. Took away my enjoyment of making fun of people for making stupid, petty criticisms about houses (like the pain color.)

What I like about Antique Roadshow, though, is that they will do the little short snippets where they show a lot of stuff that someone brought that they thought would be worth something an it isn’t. Same with at the end when they show a few people who brought something that was really worthless and/or the thing they

I’ve watched Chopped from nearly its inception and I’ve watched Worst Cooks in America from the first episode. They have changed so much. Chopped has mostly just added the judges yelling at the contestants a lot more and encouraged contestants to say either dramatic shit or that trite, “I want to prove...” stuff. But,

You have to be able to prove that, though. There is no proof whatsoever that it is against their religion to get a vaccine. Christians everywhere have been getting vaccines since vaccines became a thing.

I live in Oklahoma and I was fired for something that made no sense. Ultimately, I got unemployment benefits, because my ex-employer couldn’t show there was a written policy against what I did before they fired me. So, it’s possible in Oklahoma if there is no written policy about the vaccine. That said, most companies

I had someone reply to me yesterday saying, “I tried to bring your comment out of the grays, but Kinja wouldn’t let me.” So, I went to go find my comment and their reply so I could say something, but I could never even find my comment. No matter what I did. I even tried it from another link to the same article. Nope.

Alarms are not a high priority because the vast majority of them are false. There are jurisdictions who don’t even respond to alarms (except a panic alarm) anymore. And so many alarm companies are just horrible. Keeping in mind it’s been since 2011 that I was a 911 dispatcher, my experience is that ADT, especially,

Tangentially related: I worked at an alarm company and one night I got an alarm at a funeral home. It was a motion detector and only a motion detector. I looked at my coworker and said, “The zombie apocalypse has started.”

I hate open casket funerals. I won’t go up there unless I’m forced (I was on the front row with my grandmother when her third husband died, so I had to go up there) and then I avert my eyes.

I’m donating my body to help train cadaver dogs. I was going to donate to a body farm, but they have waiting lists, so then I was going to donate to med schools for dissecting, but then I learned that cadaver dog training needs bodies, so that’s what I decided to do.

This is slanderous to dogs. Dogs would all get the vaccine because they love everyone else so much and would want to protect them.

I don’t get it. If you’re not coming to my door in the middle of the night (and that happened once. Guy had been stabbed. I called 911 for him, because I couldn’t see through the peephole if he really had been stabbed, but I didn’t want to do nothing) I’m not concerned. Annoyed, maybe, but not concerned.

Bingo! They’re afraid to piss off the moderates. Fuck doing the right thing, we need to do the thing that gets us reelected.

Federal agent with the equivalent of a pen and clipboard and not armed. But, yeah, let’s respond to a stranger on our doorstep with weapons. Instead of being reasonable and either not answering the door or telling them you aren’t going to answer their questions. Sheesh!

What is it with conservatives and someone coming to their door? Like there’s something wrong with knocking on someone’s door (assuming it’s a reasonable hour.) I mean, yeah, we all hate door-to-door salespeople, but I’ve never felt the need to respond to them with weapons.

This is why jean seem so expensive to me.

Shit, I remember in the early 90s making maybe $6/hour and I paid cash for a used car. $500. It was more than my rent but not as much as two months rent. It was a good car, too, until someone ran into it.

Because if there are always employers who are going to get by with the least they can and there are always workers who have no choice but to take whatever is available. The *average* means there are a lot of people working for below that, even well below that. And the average is a good wage where I live but barely
