Whistler the Wonder Cat (I need to distract him so this is a good idea. He’s a troublemaker). We’ve already taught him to shake hands, high five, fist bump, wave hi, beg, sit and lay down. We have also have him on video being very accurate at the shell game. :)

Electric cars from the early days are very cool. They even had fun little wicker carts at the 1915 Panama California Exposition in San Diego’s Balboa Park that were battery powered and went around the Exposition at 3.5mph. They just returned to Balboa Park—with modern batteries so they run better. See photos and video

Universal truth for the audience: they will get restless if it is too long. Seat are uncomfortable if they are in them for too long. They will get tired, no matter how good you are. In other words, KEEP IT SHORT AND INTERESTING!

Tom Swift books in 1910 had the fictional inventor working on airships and these airships had real life inspirations. And that wasn’t the only series for kids at the time
