One of the ISO GRIFO’s, loved it since I was a kid. Timeless Italian beauty with American muscle-car running gear makes for lots of power, speed, handling and simplicity with low running costs. Not cheap to buy nowadays though. Iso_grifo.jpg

They started talking about a 42 volts system in the late 1990's and guess what; they are still talking. If it hadn’t been for Tesla, this technology and hybrids/EV’s, autonomous vehicles etc, would have been kicked down the road like the proverbial can, just like most other things it has taken the automotive industry

If she’s already intrigued by Tesla why not go for one? She’s got the budget for a basic one and she will be saving quite a bit on fuel & services. New S60 is 68K or loads of used for less than 60K. Nice P85 for 58K. Wish I had that problem and could buy a Tesla in my area.

It’s a mystery to me as well, some automakers can’t design their cars these daysfor love nor money, for lack of a better word, it’s fugly.

Excellent, well done!

I just sent that in as my choice, love it!

Many good choices mentioned, decision, decisions, I always loved the Iso Grifo, timeless Italian beauty with US muscle, too bad they went bust during the early 70's oil crisis. Fastest versions did around 180 mph.KimC
