Yeah, this reminds me of those news stories where an abused/rescued puppy is shown on the news, so the shelter is flooded with calls to adopt the "little angel," but when the shelter says the dog has already found a home, none of the callers want one of the other hundreds of puppies needing homes just as much.

Good-ish news: A federal judge in Wisconsin issued a temporary restraining order today for the law that would severely restrict women's access to safe and legal abortion.

I loved it too! Even my boyfriend who never really got into Harry Potter (he was a bit too old when the books came out here and always thought it was just kids stuff) was amazed... I considered hiding somewhere and just living in Dumbledore's office.

The Warner Bros. Studio Tour was AMAZING, far better than the Harry Potter theme park in Florida in my opinion. It was great they had all the videos about the creation of the special effects, and all the random facts about the sets.

Take a friend's giant barn, add some cheap paper lanterns, lots of booze and some bbq and you've got my wedding. Which coincidentally was OFF. THE. HOOK. I don't get the urge some people have to spend oodles of money on what amounts to a single evening.
