Oh, absolutely. I'm married to a fabulous guy but would be delighted to share my later years with a good buddy, should he go first. Human companionship is so important as one ages.

I think that was Catherine Zeta-Jones?

I saw Connie Britton IRL at my gym (in TX during FNL) about three years ago and I swear, she has a golden halo surrounding her. I lived in LA for several years and never saw anyone as naturally luminous as Connie.

I consider myself fairly tech-savvy but up until recently, iTunes has been very non-user friendly. Complicated menus with very little explanation/troubleshooting.

YES!! I am so glad you posted this; I just gave a shout out to the museum up above (in the greys). I was lucky enough to recently have lunch in the Presidential Suite and it is mid-century fabulous. See those lovely ceiling lights? All over the PS ceiling. Gorgeous. Great view of the campus, too.

Little known fact: Buster Keaton was a pro-level bridge player.

Lady Bird is the BEST-her spirit looms large over Austin and Central Texas. If anyone is visiting Austin, please swing by the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and the LBJ museum to learn more. He was incredibly liberal but that is forgotten due to Vietnam.

As corny as it sounds, technology is getting better and better so it might be an easy transition!

My puppy Simpson (Chihuahua mix) was found-with her litter mate-in a plastic bag that had been thrown in an apartment dumpster. Some kind person heard rustling and took them to the vet in time. We adopted her in April to round out our two rescue labs and here are a few pics to show how happy and healthy she is now.

Tim Burton (and Helena Bonham Carter, tangentially) gave a major. loving gift to my best friend's son, who was dying of leukemia. I will share more if anyone is interested but suffice to say, I will be a massive fan of both until my last breath and wish them the very best.

Bob Woodward with really white hair?

Yes! By Charlie Rose?

I LOVE Alan Alda. He used to proudly proclaim his feminism in the 70s and was an ERA activist. And he was AWESOME on M.A.S.H. And he looks like my dad!

Also, I can't see Cyndi Lauper in your list-was that her with Big Bird?

Willie Nelson, Bryan Cranston and Doris Kearns Goodwin (unsure of tall man in back). You probably got them, though.

You make good points but where did she say that they would have to leave if they didn't tell her what they were doing?

Yeah, I was really happy that his teacher showed it because it gave us the opportunity to talk about covert/systemic and overt racism and I had completely forgotten about it. The students regularly watch films and shows about issues like poverty, e.g., 30 Days with Morgan Spurlock, so they have an open-minded,

My son (7th grade) just told me that his history teacher showed them the Eddie Murphy SNL short film "White Like Me" today. They've been talking about current racism, probably brought on by discussions about the Mike Brown, Eric Garner and Tamir Rice cases. So, some teachers are trying but it's sad that things feel

Thank you for doing this; I know it's tough.

Where do you get that Whoopi is highly educated? She is a high school dropout. I get your point about engaging in due process but as other commenters note, she pretty much always takes the side of the man. See Gibson, Mel.
