I think major life events shake up all mental and emotional growth in ways one doesn't always notice right away: marriage, kids, etc. My close friend's son died last year and that grief changed, exhausted and aged me tremendously. My mother died six weeks ago and my own history has been shaken to the core. I feel as

I don't think STG exists in Texas. (Note to self: look it up before posting.)

It's beautiful. Do a google search and see if anyone is selling it!

I feel that way because I feel like the sales staff will pester me because they have nothing else to do.

ooooo...Selfridge's...those gorgeous yellow and black bags...

Having more money allows me to buy Premium Economy airline seats, which make a huge difference for my tall husband. Having more money allows me to buy $150, higher-quality jeans instead of $38 jeans. I would never spend $650 on one spoon but I once spent $1000 on three Paul McCartney tickets. It basically gives more

No, not really but it was a very confusing time so I may not remember correctly. Clinton was really beloved and he and Hillary were the uber-power couple. The economy rocked and America was very, very different pre-911. We still kicked ass! Not only that but the cast of characters was so horrifying and the way it all

Bono?

I remember all that talk around DC. It was Hillary's and Monica's fault but never Bill's.

She was SO young and had Linda Tripp manipulating her on one side and Clinton on the other. God, poor thing. Everyone mocked her hair, her clothes, her weight, her crush and she was just 24 and caught up in this crazy maelstrom.

I know it's probably not cool to like them but dang, the Olsen twins know how to dress up. ETA: I don't think they have the best look but compared to Kristen Stewart, for example, they have such good taste, even if the clothes are a little big on them.

No lie. I lived in Baltimore from 1998-2005 and people were still beyond upset about it.

I know she's a narcissist because she is wearing her lab coat and stethoscope to a press conference or some such event. Few things I hate more than physicians who are that into "being" a physician.

I'm white and well-off and think hatehatehate is full of it. It isn't self-loathing to mock people who have everything and still try to game the system.

And in Texas for football.

Yeah, I think that I would have really benefited from a year post-HS, perhaps volunteering or "finishing" or growing up. I threw myself into UT-Austin in the mid-80s and went wild. I would be all for my son taking a one-year break before college, as long as he does something productive like meaningful travel,

I was older (November) and pretty immature. My husband was very young (August) and very mature, so it depends. Our son is June and goes to private in Austin. He is the youngest boy in 6th (several have turned 13 over the past few months) but does fine.

Hopkins is a hard school, though; getting in doesn't guarantee doing well.

Holy shit, that is an amazing gif. Perfect for this moment.
