It’s hard to say whose apologies are genuine, and whose are not. But, to say, “I’m embarrassed, and she was sitting right there” and “This is a big learning moment for me” is, I think, a pretty decent reflective statement.
I think Sarah Silverman said it best when she asked, “Can you love someone who did bad things?”

Those are not Publix cakes.

It is hypocritical for us to arbitrarily care so much more for dogs in these horrible intensive farming situations, than we do for the pigs and cows and chickens, who feel just as much pain, in farms here at home. That being said, I cannot WAIT to see Game Changers - the movie.

The key is to live in Florida, man, without becoming Florida Man.

Maybe I’m not #feminist enough but I do not get this quote. I think it’s a horrible “inspirational” saying. Not to mention, clunky to say. What am I missing?? It’s just a bad quote.

“When women speak it is mostly poetry.”

Like, I just watched Sarah Huckabee Sanders talk and let me tell you, if that was poetry, it was some pretty fucked up high school English class poetry.

Fucking thank you!!!!!!!

I used to work there, and furthermore bills generally don’t mean much by themselves. They tend to say things like “in subsection 4(A), change effective January 1, 2020 to effective January 1, 2020 subject to approval by the Board as established in subsection 19(C).”
