Noooo. You monster. Including Civel War? Nothing really even happened that you can’t infer from the fact that other movies exist.

I think the issue with Ant-Man is that it has had zero plot relevance so far to Avengers as a whole. So far it has been a completely separate story arc (minus that one crossover in Civil War). It needs a solid tie into the Avengers story overall.

It appears we may get that in Endgame however!

If you’re going to skip something, skip Iron Man 2 and Thor 2.  Ant-Man and Ant-Man & The Wasp are fun heist movies in the MCU world that don’t rely on the MCU to function. 

Skip The Incredible Hulk as it is truly terrible and watch Ang Lee’s superior Hulk from 2003. You won’t regret it.
