Kelli had so many great lines during the search. Her “Enhance!” was a great closer to the security camera scene.

I feel like you’re writing off the Lawrence-Issa relationship waaaaaaay too quickly, Ashley. I wish it was over too, hell, a long time ago. But just because he’s moving AND having a baby with another woman doesn’t mean they can’t drag him out for another couple of seasons.
My thoughts on the finale:
Further proof that Issa and Molly need to be less pressed about being in a relationship.
Thank you for so eloquently expressing my thoughts! LOL! I agree that Andrew is likely observing how Molly responds to the Issa situation as a litmus test of how she handles issues in relationships. I’m betting there will be a breakup next episode. I’ve felt that his character has been a bit off this season, but I’m…
I think you completely nailed it. I think Andrew is nudging Molly gently towards making small concessions in life but Molly just isnt making any progress and he is seeing it. Especially like when she changed the food and blew off going to the game. Molly is going to end up alone and have a huge realization.
Unlike the author of this Season 4, Episode 9 recap, I find Issa and Lawrence tolerable too. I enjoy the show for its entertainment value, but I also enjoy it because I find the writing and situations relatable as well as ENJOY seeing black people on television that are contemporary, engaging in a practical manner,…
Oh wow
“Brrap! Brrap!”
I look forward to the day when Issa doesn’t give a rip or even know what Molly thinks is ‘messy’. I like their friendship in general, but I think she’s usually over her skis when she judges Issa’s choices or mistakes.
Chad’s judgmental sips are always welcome.

I think it would be nice if this were just a period on the end of the relationship, allowing them to move forward as respectful friends without all the bitterness.
I think the dislike he receives is very well-deserved, evidenced by the fact that he told Condola he’d hook up with her later twice, stringing her along while also playing date-night with Issa, and pretty sure he never told her he wasn’t coming after he and Issa started fucking. He’s quite trash when it comes to his…
She purchased the shirt at Art Walk and wore the same jeans from the night before.
I don’t want Lawrence to move to San Fran because I like having him on the show.
The direction during the dinner, in particular, was superb. And that may be the most romantic sex scene they’ve ever done. I loved seeing Lawrence and Issa just...be together? Their chemistry is so easy, so good. Dunno if I’m back on their team, but this was the best episode of the season.
Yeah, this season’s Andrew doesn’t seem like the earlier Andrew at all. Season 3 (?) Andrew didn’t take Molly’s shit and called her out. Maybe relationship Andrew is just trying not to rock the boat?
I agree that Andrew seemed to let Molly off the hook after saying he was ‘different’. But, perhaps, he’s also cool enough to wait until they are back home from the vacation to drill down on her bullshit. Were I in that situation I probably would do my best to hold onto my chill until we were back so as not to throw…
Yeah that was awful. You know that bill was expensive, too. I’ve always wondered about that because it seems to happen a lot on television. Can’t you just pay for your own food? Why are you obligated to pay for all the food at your table?
