‘as a beleaguered Mets fan’

Let’s stop pretending that solid axles are better and just realize that they are cheaper all else equal.

I sense there’s an underlying joke there that I’m missing (where’s #2?), but it brings up an interesting point. I have heard of 1Oak, and its pretty famous for... well, they call it “1Coke”. It’s a legit nightclub, and no one goes there for a drink and then leaves.

Point 2 must have been pretty bad for you to skip straight to points 3 and 4.

a truly spectacular post from what i can only assume is a phillies fan who’s run out of real jokes to make at the mets’ expense.

That looks affordable.

The Mets players will be even unhappier when they find that missing #2.

Not really the question you’re asking, but it gives me room to vent, so...

Journalists like to be descriptive and shit.

+2.)

My office doesn’t even require a call. Email is sufficient.

Ive often had communication issueswith my bosses after staying out too late the night before; mostly consisting of a hungover promise that Ill fuckincall them in a minute, goddammit! NOW LET ME FUCKING SLEEP!

Officially, according to the US government, Middle Easterners are white, not Asian.

I suggest that the show is severely lacking in humor representation these days irrespective of racial representation.

Cool. So is Europe, and the Americas?

I wouldn’t fault SNL for not having an asian person on any particular season’s cast- as you point out, diversity per se is not really a goal anyone wants. But it is odd that SNL has NEVER had an asian comedian cast member in its 40 year history. And don’t even try with the “there’s never been a comedian funny enough”

Sure. We might as well go stupidly generic and say it is in Eurasia. If you are going to ignore basic boundaries used to define regions, we might as well just lump it all together, since it is one big landmass anyhow!

Iran is not in Asia. It is in the Middle East.

Yeah, white people just swapped “Asian” in for “Oriental” and called it a day.
