I priced up a ludicrously overpowered PC last week (I cut back on a few things, like 8GB of RAM instead of 16 or 32, and only one video card instead of crossfire, etc.)

I've had 64bit for almost 10 years now, starting back with 64bit XP.

That controller would be so ridiculously uncomfortable to use.
