Because the judge was blinded by the white
Because the judge was blinded by the white
So glad for Michaela and the cast, they were brilliant. Regina King did a tremendous job directing One Night in Miami .
Oh wait... it’s fucking rural Michigan, which may as well be Kentucky.
You got a Community notification for this but don’t know the Community character Starburns?
He’ll only be in jail until they get him sentenced and all the papers are filled out. Then he’ll be moved to prison, which is much worse, but too good for Chavin. Fuck that guy. Lock him up in that SuperMax Monster prison. Someone should kneel on that bastard’s neck until he passes out, revive him and do it again. …
I can’t figure out how to flag every person and every organization (besides yourself, of course) in this article as a hate crime.
False. People accused of murder are to be adjudicated by the legal system and then it is innocent until proven guilty, (not really but let’s pretend) when a jury of peers decide.
You beat me to it.
It feels like that old saying “Give them an inch and they try for a mile”, in reverse. Ask for a mile and maybe we’ll give an inch. It’s effed up that accountability looks like justice to so many. Then Ma’Khia Bryant is murdered and America is right back to it’s evil ways.
The Clapback Mailbag is going to be crazy this week!
The other side is always white people.
Except for the Right to Lifers, yes.
I should have realised what the objection to a loofah would be. My maiden aunties all crochet those little squares made for pot holders and I use those as my exfoliating washcloths, and mostly because of the inability of a loofah to feel truly rinsed enough to be clean.
Are we supposed to accept the taser instead of gun mistake??? That’s not an accident, that’s a fatal screw up. Are all the police-issued tasers shaped like guns? Do they require a trigger pull to tase someone? Are they placed practically on top of where the gun and holster are on the utility belt? How do people even…
First and foremost: fuck white people and this entire April 11 idea.
Apparently, Sunday, April 11, is the day white people across the country have set aside for white fragility rallies where the melanin-have-nots will gather and lament the difficulties faced by the white race in America while eating unseasoned green…
Thank you for posting this!
Reckon these state workers meet up sometimes and make bets on just how much they can do to end democracy in this country? I do, the mf’ers.
My take on this and other situations like this is, if that person could go through it, especially if it’s wrong and sick they’re going through it, that I can be there to witness the outcome. It’s sad and too little, but that is all I can do from here and now.
The New York Times carries an article of FBI Director Christopher Wray testifying to Senate committee:
It sounds like the issue so many white people, but certainly cops have with looking at a black child and attributing an older age to them than they are. I don’t understand the psychology behind that, but it definitely happens.
