Fire the American Top Gear guys, hire Seinfeld, Leno and (Carolla or some other name entered here). Have them test cars and do road trips, with this type of show being the american equivalent of a star in a reasonably priced car! American Top Gear might actually be funny and worth watching!

The engine is good. It's just tuned and choked for emissions and mileage standards. A good tune and exhaust does wonders for it. Boosted, there are guys running around on 400hp trouble free. Rumors of a 600hp stock blocked beast are abound as well.

Eh, maybe "ruins" is too strong a word. "Greatly detracts from" might be better.
