Watching unfettered joy is probably one of my favorite things.

About time is right. I always come back to this video from like 5 years ago with two idiotic white people abusing the crap out of autopilot because of course they did.
My Cappuccino had 63 horsepower and it was AMAZING.
While it may cost a little more and be a bit more of a headache, it would make it easier once the car got here. Getting importation paperwork in English would solve several problems registering the vehicle on this side of things. I had to get all of my documentation from Japan translated by a certified translator and…
Seriously this could be useful, but what is up with the stationary battery? Unless you’re losing power constantly or live off grid somewhere, I don’t understand the allure of having a backup battery for your house.
Disabling of garage door opener presets when the car is off. Having this an option from the factory would make people’s driveway parked cars not a vulnerable entry point into someone’s house. I have to disassemble the entire upper light module to find remote power and switch over that that for the sensor panel and it…
Love that you offered for us to submit a questionnaire, but no where to submit it... really stick it to those idiots with EVs.
A really good headunit in an older car. Android Auto/Carplay, a microphone with Bluetooth, backup camera, etc. all transforms an old car into something that you can enjoy for years longer.
I bought this yesterday when it was posted, I am *shocked* by how good this thing is. I’m using it as a static conference room device and it works so well. For $200 it’s a crazy good deal on this.

It sounds like LG needs to work on their battery construction. Two different batteries have significant faults that cause global recalls? If I were a manufacturer I’d definitely be eyeing a different source for my batteries.
I never do this, but I skipped the whole article just to come down here and say ‘No Dice’. Seriously, these things suck so bad. They are all show and little to no go. It’s a bad motorcycle mixed with a bad car.
I love this list! Any way we could get one for women as well? My daughter loves to watch/follow car stuff with me and I’ve been trying to find some good female driven content for her.
Ehhh.... it’s going to need like $5k poured into it to make it great. And $8500 can get you a pretty decent Boxster with lower mileage. But $3500 is such a good price for what you’re getting! Screw it, Nice Price, I’d buy it and finish beating it to death.
I’d bet I’m in the extreme minority here, but holy hell do I not give a crap about any car I could never conceivably afford. If I have no chance of ever driving the thing, why should I care what specs it has? How good it feels? How amazing it is to drive? I can’t possibly probe the depths of my soul to give a sh*t…
I’ve never been much into Motorcycles, but now I feel like I should get one just to complete the Brownell Trifecta.
A TourX and a 1st Gen Nissan Leaf? Nice Driveway you got there!
I’m all for plastic phones, I just hate paying $1k for a phone that feels like one of my kid’s toys. Use cheap and durable materials and make me a top of the line flagship phone for $750 and I’d pre-order on release day.
I definitely think it’s electrically inclined folks being more interested in EVs from the start. I jumped on a lease for the Nissan Leaf and installed my own charging station once I ran the numbers. Every time I suggest to friends/family that an EV would be a good choice for them, I always feel resistance unless they…
Batteries and a control system, man. That’s where it gets expensive. You can easily double the cost of the motor with all of that stuff.
Full autonomy would mean there’s no reason for there to be a driver at all... hence the term ‘Full Autonomy’. Why would we need to worry about the ‘million other idiots’ doing whatever they wanted? The ability to do whatever they wanted would be the driving force behind the sales of the vehicle to begin with.
