I like to go for longer loans if it gets the interest rate stays the same or drops. If you pay the same amount that you'd be paying on a 5 year loan across 6 years then you'll end it at about 5 years since the extra you pay directly to principle is no longer accruing interest.

Everyday Driver did an excellent run through on this and I definitely agree with them, Fiesta ST all the way.

Listen, I love Top Gear as much as the next Jalop... but this whole video style where 'two guys pick two different cars and then fake their way through a conversation about why the one they 'chose' is the right one' needs to go.

If the notification had a deal or coupon attached to it, a lot of people would choose to go take advantage of it.

I'd buy one... that's because people like myself enjoy driving their cars for fun. I'd love to have a nice 2+2 coupe that autonomously drives during the mundane commute/highway trips and then lets me toss it around when appropriate. For that pleasure I would gladly pay for the upkeep/real estate necessary to do so.

My pregnant wife is the bread winner in the family, so I probably won't be able to afford much when she finally wises up and leaves me... I'd have to say my best option would be a used WRX or Mazdaspeed 3. Enough space for the kids on the weekends and still good for AutoX.

My BRZ keeps up with traffic at 3k rpm no problem... if I want to pass someone that's accelerating quicker than most, then I have to wring it out to 5, but when it goes to up to 7, that's hardly an issue.

I bought a BRZ because I couldn't get this in a hatch... I'll trade-in without complaint. (Plus it'll help with the kid on the way!)

And it is perpetuated constantly because no cops pull people over for not having their lights on because they don't want to stand in the rain giving a ticket.

They've already raised $11k.. that's so amazingly awesome, I can't contain myself.

For me, it all comes back to this.

Yay! Now I can be the jerk that ruins the soda and makes everyone stop their conversation to look at them.

Someone's going to have to make a car cover with a hole in the roof portion.... Or a garage with a giant skylight... Or... like a.... like a big clear umbrella... thing.

I think a mix between the two is key. Buying a WRX instead of a Mazdaspeed 3 is a great way to look at it. Rex holds it's value better than the MS3 does and that can be the tipping point when it comes to picking between the two. I hope my subie holds it's value as well as an STI does, but we'll see. :)

Well you don't want to scratch the paint.. it's brand new car!

2.) Electric or electrically-boosted steering

Photoshopped. I can tell because of the shadows.

I could drive that around Italy and be all like, "Ciao.."
