Let's Go!
Let's Go!
As hybrids and electrics become more and more common, we could see a day when our kids or grandkids will rarely — if ever — drive a car that makes noise or has a transmission requiring actual skill to operate. Maybe I'm overreacting, but I feel like some of these things should be on an endangered species list.
Why would Amazon support this? Half the reason I buy on Amazon is because it's about the same price, but I don't get charged sales tax so it ends up becoming a better deal. I saved $14 on my last order because the price was the exact same in store. If this bill gets passed, then half of my orders from Amazon disappear…
That's the only argument for iPad photography that made sense. Bravo.
Super bright. I'll be putting some tape over that part.
Bet I can open it!
Yeah, this is way better than whatever that was.
That'd save so much storage space in your head.
..but wouldn't it be hilarious if it were?
Us, not being helicopter pilots, can hardly say. Guess we'll wait for the final word from the NTSB's decision.
'...once the engine starts puttering in a helicopter, you're as good as dead...'
Well, considering that when a car runs out of gas it putters to a stop and (apparently) when a helicopter runs out of gas it crashes to the ground a kills people, wouldn't you keep your eyes fixated on every gauge and your ears on every putter your engine made just in case your low fuel estimate was wrong?
Well I would assume that helicopter's have fuel gauges, maybe they're saying that if he wasn't distracted he could have noticed that he wasn't going to make it to his refueling destination and gotten the 'copter safely down before it ran out.
But airlines aren't at all worried about money! "Safe Affordable Travel" is definitely the slogan of all of the major airlines.
I am not sure how comfortable I am discussing the finer points of cockpit breech online... so I'll just agree so I don't end up on a list somewhere. :-p
He kinda went over that in the video:
I totally agree with you that a lot of people seem to want things 'just because' , in fact it's half the reason 'new' items can just be repackaged buffed up old versions and they still sell like hotcakes. (I've never bought a hotcake, but I hear they sell fast.)
Extremely well put, and it's something I hadn't considered. It's a fine line to walk and one that they cannot blindly trample across. Luckily for us necessity breeds innovation. So in order to stay relevant and to get back on top Apple has to tackle this dated interface aggressively. I just hope it happens in this…
http://youtu.be/ Google Now is crazy awesome.
Because I wantz it!
