It’s like you have a masters degree in the console wars, wow!

Dan Savage told a story about a friend who couldn’t find a partner who was into his BDSM kinks, so he tried to make a chatGPT boyfriend, only to be dumped by it once he revealed his kinks.

The Road would be the easiest read by a long shot but depressing as hell. All the Pretty Horses and its sequels were very engrossing stories. Blood Meridian is arguably his best, but it is definitely the most challenging in my opinion, for both the complexity of the prose, and the gruesomeness of the story itself. I

I read COS and thought Cosby, coincidence??

The Big Picture podcast has a great segment about De Niro’s career and his choice of roles, and they pretty much conclude that being rich and famous is expensive, and why wouldn’t he take big money for easy roles in mediocre movies whenever he wants to? He can do whatever the fuck he wants! Zero fucks to give.

Bill Hader’s endowment is certainly no longer private. The Jez just loves talking about it every chance it gets! #Feminism...

Right, it’s just as simple as coming out as bi to a bunch of stodgy old white men in DC who can barely fathom what that means. Much simpler than staying in the closet so you don’t have to deal with a bunch of awkward questions about your personal life.

I’m so embarrassed that I voted for her. ‘She’s bi, what could go wrong?’ I said.

Damn you’re smart.

Keller Williams has been playing one-man shows, and plenty of collabs, since the 90's. Maybe not in arenas, but he was a pioneer of looping. Check him out!

Musicians don’t need permission to play a cover song during a live concert, but if you release that concert as an album, only then would you need permission and pay royalties. I’m a big fan of Phish, and they usually play one or two covers every show, and they’ve never been sued as far as I know. If anything, bands

How any recent article could mention Patty LuPone without bringing up Beau Is Afraid is an absolute travesty. You guys review movies, right? You supposedly like A24's movies, and Ari Aster’s previous masterpieces? Yet no love for is newest passion project? All I want is to dig into the comments on this movie, but all

They could cast Ron Perlman, then de-age him. Or, since Austin Butler is on a roll, he could play young Tom.

I’m enjoying Loop Hero but I’m still struggling to wrap my head around some of its mechanics, like the base building and some of the interactions between cards. When deck building there are some cards that I can’t find a good reason to include. Chill game, though.

Is it appropriate for my daughter who is 12? She recently got into D&D and would love to see it.

I have a husky named Husky. When we got him we kept calling him ‘the husky’ until we came up with something, and he started responding to it so we just gave up.

Thee Lords of the Fallen’

You wouldn’t be lost imo, but I recommend just playing both. Great soulslikes set in a sci-fi future dystopia, with unique limb-severing mechanics for farming parts. Very enjoyable and varied movesets.

I can vouch for the Surge games, especially 2, and managed to skip LotF after reading enough tepid reviews. This reboot/sequel/remake looks quite good though.

I think with From games the lore is there for those who want it, even though you’re going to have to work for it. But if you’re like me and just want the bare minimum plot lines, and to let the gameplay speak for itself, then you don’t have to sit through unbearably long cutscenes that interrupt the flow of the game
