I’m guessing she’s not a Rush fan either...

Conservative pride.

And whaddaya know? Richard Lloyd was a big fan of none other than Jeff Beck!

Haha mine would be Zappa, Trey Anastasio, David Gilmour, Hendrix, Jerry Garcia. Even Jeff Buckley, not so much as a lead guitarist obviously, but the man could play beautifully.

Duh, silly, he has The Lord on his side.

OK you win.

Just vote before your long nap.

Off the top of my head David Gilmour believes Beck is the best. After all, Pink Floyd approached him to replace Syd, can you imagine what that would’ve been like?? And Waters used Beck on his Amused to Death album, not the greatest release by any means but the leads were awesome. Jimmy Page also cites him as one of

Maybe so, but ask the world’s best living guitarists and they all cite Jeff Beck as the best of the best, so if it wasn’t for him, all our other great guitarists wouldn’t have had such an amazing influence to inspire them. And he’s still active ferchrissakes!

Frank Zappa, or maybe even Adrian Belew.

You can’t leave Jeff Beck off this list though, or Frank Zappa for that matter

For me it was convincing my mom to buy me 1984 when I was 9, even though my older brother already had it, cuz he wouldn’t let me borrow it, then playing it on my Playskool record player with my best friend, 1984, Jump, Panama, then skipping to Hot For Teacher. Loved that album!

I think I was wincing at the forced laughter from his canned audience. I get that he can’t perform in front of a packed studio, but if it’s going to be that awkward listening to six people trying too hard to laugh at his bad jokes, then he should just record remotely until things get back to normal. Honestly, even

Just got my copy, and was hoping the release date would motivate me to read it fast, but now I’m afraid I’ll just put if off.

Ugh this makes me nauseous.

Yeah I watched this episode late, and when Bill announced RBG’s passing I had a flash of exactly where I was when I got the notification: getting in the car after leaving the grocery store, checking my phone, muttering ‘fuck,’ to my wife, she says ‘what?’ I tell her and she screams “Nooooooooooo!!! We’re fucked!!!’

I was pleasantly surprised to see how Michael Cohen handled his opening interview last week, likening the Trumps to a cult, and not realizing just how bad it was until he was out of it. I also thought it was super awkward how Bill interrupted the show to announce RBG’s passing. I realize that he had to do it, but it pu

The King Crimson boxed set is amazing! Half of it is studio, and the other half is mostly the same songs performed live, many of which included Adrian Belew on guitar, who actually played on the Talking Heads live release The Name of the Band is Talking Heads, also worth checking out.
