I work on a unit that has up to 3 suicidal patients every day, and yes, techs get paid $15/hr to sit with them for their entire 12hr shift, minus lunch and a few breaks, during which time someone else covers them, and the patients are never left alone 24:7.

I think it’s more of a love story to Hollywood from QT, and how Manson fucked it all up at the peak of the hippie Hollywood scene.

The Bruce Lee scene accomplished a few things. It was very funny, and it showed that Pitt’s character could fight, so that the audience wouldn’t be surprised when he kicked ass during the home invasion.
