Just to be clear, these are chips, not dollars. The WSOP Main Event costs $10k to enter, and I believe this year you get 40k chips to start with, and it used to be 30k. So while yes, that’s a ton of money they’re throwing around, it’s 1/4 of what most people tend to think it is.
