You realize this has hundreds of thousands of pre-orders already, right?

Memba NES?
Attorney here, that not really how it works.
Lawyers my friend. Even Lucifer made the sign of the cross and asked for forgiveness when he gave us lawyers.
>>>You’re literally taking a huge leap here by being the first company in the history of gaming consoles to introduce a mid-gen upgrade like this<<<
Similar hardware does 4K 30 just fine without even taking advantage of being on a console and not constrained by Windows and devs having to target unlimited hardware configs.
Native 4K gaming on a console just isn’t going to happen any time soon, at least not on what we understand a console to be.
To be truthful, neither of these machines should even exist.
You cannot compare PC graphics cards to console graphics cards. To get 4K graphics you only have to upgrade certain parts of the card, which is likely what PS4 Pro and Scorpio are doing.
They’re not the first, Nintendo did the DSi and the New 3DS.
They did mention you could get the better textures and better frame rates when we can playing with the pro on a standard HD TV.
No I didn’t, but I will be later. But I don’t care what they say, until I see actual proof of the games being rendered in 4K I will continue to call BS on it. Rendering in 4K and upscaling to 4K output are vastly different when it comes to gpu power. Hell if you own a 4K tv it upconverts 1080p content to 4K. But look…
They said Xbox One would run at native full HD back in the day too. How’s that promise held up for them so far?
Great scott! I can’t give you that information.
Agreed.
I really love your post because you really hit the nail with the hammer on this point.
I’m Roman Catholic, went to Catholic School, and Jesuit High School and I gotta say yes, there’s so much stupidity in many of the traditions of the Catholic faith (and religion in general ) that people want to hide stupidity under…
A small subset of gamers and atheists pride themselves on telling uncomfortable truths that no one wants to say, based on perfect logic. In reality, they’re usually declaring an debatable opinion, and then anyone who disagrees is just a PC jerk/SJW who’s afraid of admitting the truth.
Except that a religion, by very definition, interferes with people/places/things. Religion is philosophy ruined by dogma.
Maybe you just feel that way because we are picking on the “wrong” religion. If a Catholic person thought Pokemon Go was blasphemous would you feel that way? A Baptist? A Mormon? A Seventh Day Adventist?
He’s right though. The world would a far better place without the religions. But for an american, i guess that idea is impossible to conceive...
