Disrupt is right in saying both are correct. Saiyan is an English translation of サイヤ人 (Saiya-jin). The 人 character is what you can roughly translate to as “jin,” or “man.”

Saiyajin is the Japanese pronunciation. The -jin suffix literally means “person”. So, Saiya-person, or person of the Saiya race. Amerikajin = American, or person of/from America, etc.

Saiyan is the stylized version for other countries. :)

Saiyajin(Correct spelling) its the original name in japan and in several countries around the world because in most languages there isnt a acurrate way to translate it. Sayan(Maybe Saiyan, i dont know the correct spelling) its the oficial and best possble translation to english. Both are correct to use.
