Probably neither lol. I'd probably think about how balanced and nice to drive they are but overpriced for the performance. Then I'd be like I probably can't afford one right now lol.

People care about the badge and brand image lol.

In such cases, the owner will also be provided with a replacement vehicle of a standard corresponding to the Audi A8.

I want to see someone use this god damn mouse on the highest setting. 4000 dpi is already fucking high, 6000ish is almost unusable... who the hell has the accuracy???

I got multiple friends... not all of them can't afford the ELR. Most that couldn't afford the ELR bought other cars and didn't consider the Cadillac because of the said reasons, and one of the ones that could afford it got a Tesla S because it offered the better value than the ELR for cheaper price. ELR is $67500

And the bad connotations with the brand goes on lol.

A lot of people I know were pissed at the ad because it insinuated that they're not working hard enough to be able to buy a 75k car lol. They thought they could afford a Cadillac cause the normal is around 40-55k or something around there, but the ELR is 75k.

Except the people who spend $75k wouldn't get the ELR. they'd be more likely to a Tesla Model S lol.

I feel like Cadillac was such a shit show for so long that most potential buyers has a negative connotation of the brand... And that ELR advertisement certainly didn't help the brand image...

I didn't hate the commercial, I just thought it was terrible and a slap in the face for Cadillac's potential buyers (mainly mid and upper end middle class) and especially the younger people who's a lot more socially conscious... I can see why people call it was controversial because it insults other countries

Not really. After I found out that it was basically a rebadged Volt, that 75k price point baffled the hell out of me since the Volt was already considered expensive for what it is... The ELR isn't that nice of a car for that price...

The vanos bolt snapping will result in the engine dropping out of the bottom of the car leading to the car flipping over and causing a massive traffic accident

Haha ya. I just bought a 135i a couple months ago that's affected by the same recall and got the same letter saying that they got a recall but no parts lol.

But is all the attention you guys got good attention? A lot of the comments and posts about the commercial was pretty negative... especially when the commercial's message (imo) was that the white guy's obviously was rich, he can afford all these nice things but he's telling the people (that can afford the usual

So GM can't sell any of their used cars anymore?

Chrysler's Clint Eastwood and Eminem was WAY more classy and well put together... Not even on the same level as the Cadillac commercial.

I'm really glad that you get this... Can you guys hold more "drive" events and invite people to compare their luxury sedans or something to actually back this up? I don't see or hear about anything other than just the cadillac commercials on TV and the ads on the websites that would want to get me into a drivers seat.

I think the price point made it worse than it is... people are like, oh a Cadillac, probably within 40-50k right? Affordable for the middle class and that's why they're saying that you work hard and you can afford these things right?

Except when the commercial basically said you work hard and you can afford nice things... Then you think about a Cadillac and it's like what. 35-50k for a car usually and targeted towards the middle class... and then you look at the price and it was 75k for a base model which is more expensive than their previous most

I think the price point they're trying to sell it at made it a lot worse...
