Didn't even learn anything about the car lol. It was just like: AMERICA WORKS HARD, FUCK YEAH. YOU WORK HARD AND SO YOU CAN AFFORD AND BUY THIS AMERICAN CAR.

If this old guy (starts on the 2nd half and says he isn't a gear head or mechanically inclined) can do it with some directions and supervision, anyone can do it with some directions and supervision.
Getting straight to the point...
The entire point of the engine build experience is that someone is walking you through it with you doing most of the work. If this old guy (2nd half of the video) can build a Corvette engine with guidance, anyone can.
Never said it was as easy as Legos. With a technician next to you telling you everything you did wrong, and a computer that basically tells you the next step (if it's anything like AMG videos) it's pretty fucking hard to fuck up unless the technician missed something and didn't tell you what you did wrong.
I said in another post that they'll come out with stuff in a couple of months cause it's a brand new engine and ECU lol.
You try coming up with everything to do a generalized stage 1/2 generalized tune that can be used on every s55 engine in like a month lol.
Not really.... Most engine are designed with specific holes and set alignments for the parts... Yes, Training programs exist for this sort of a thing but that's mostly to get the workers up to speed and not be slow assembling a engine.
I can't believe that no one in the Northwest found them in the junk yard (assuming that's where they ended up and not scrapped for metal during WWII) these around and used them as tour buses lol...
Did they even use the platform in any of the races?
That's true... Macpherson struts do resist camber gains in cornering...
It's actually a pretty damn clever move on their part. Let the original owners have the 10 year warranty but don't let it transfer.
I can't lol. It's become a part of me!
It's pretty normal for track cars (or even semi-tracked cars) to have negative camber on their wheels to counteract the positive camber gain during curning...
Habit from being on the internet for too long.
Provided money is not a issue lol.
nope... their warranty manual states specifically that it doesn't transfer.
Nope. Neither Kia or Hyunday's 10 year 100k warranty transfers if you sell it via private sale. The ONLY way to get a used Kia/Hyundai with the 10 year/100k warranty is if you buy it CPO off of their lots.
You can pay Tom here $500 to not deal with them lol.
the Koreans definitely stepped up their game as of late. But I still don't know how I should feel about them moving upmarket... Spending 60k on a Kia/Hyundai that's dated in looks and interior? (although the inside was actually pleasantly nice as far as seats were concerned) No thanks...
