I could see a closing credits montage of archival footage and such (e.g., actual images of radiation poisoning, etc.) - seems like the type of thing that Spike Lee might have done had he directed it.

Counter point: They’re awesome. My current car doesn’t have one, and I really miss it. After driving for 6 months with the defroster on and windows up, that first day where the sunroof can open and I can put the back windows down is pretty much my favourite day of the year. For the other half of the year where it’s

people who don’t use cruise on the freeway drive me crazy.  If you aren’t letting your car control its speed, at least follow someone who is and don’t get in the fast lane please.

I’ll be honest with you, on long trips it’s usually obvious who isn’t using cruise control, and they kind of drive me crazy. Cruise keeps things orderly on the interstate.

Spellcheckers can only help someone so much! A second glance would’ve fixed it.

Third self reply. I suppose Bob was referring to the bottom dip there, which makes sense.

This is a very unique type of depreciation Musk has invented here.

Netflix’s gross profit in 2o22 was $12.4B. It’s making money.

No shit. This woman says more while doing less than any actress on television.  Eyes, expression, body language, tone of voice.  I have no issue calling her one of the best working actresses today and am still just bewildered how she never won an Emmy for Saul.

As far as Netflix goes? 240 million subscribers a month times 8-20 dollars a month.

What’s the mystery with how Netflix makes money? They are a public company with quarterly, audited financials. They regularly report how many subscribers they have, average subscription revenue per subscriber, and their expenses, a large bulk of which is content spend.

If he’s that worried, why not just make “Kim Wexler In Space” and then watch the money and awards pile up.

She’s playing a character who is not Kim Wexler, but hopefully people will roll with that. I’m nervous. It’ll be interesting to see how folks react to it.

This cut rate Sean O’Neal impression is ass.  This is Werner fucking Herzog.  Put some respect on his name.

Somehow I hadn’t gotten around to seeing Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans until recently. There’s something about Warner Herzog directing Nicolas Cage that is a higher level of madness. And I am here for it.

Wait. Wait.

Both Rivian and Lucid are taking the same path as Tesla as far as affordability goes. Their first version needs to be expensive and a “Halo” car to grab attention. There are already plans for the Rivian R2, and after the Lucid Gravity, I’m sure they will get to work on a smaller, less expensive model.

Like there has ever been an EV maker that over-promised!
Psssht!

too much work for too little payback.
