“terrible, exploitative content”

I don’t know about “burning brightly for one brief moment.” One of the best parts of the binge experience is that you can consume the whole narrative and then you can go back and experience it more gradually, gathering details and more complex impressions. But if it’s a crappy season (or series) then, yes, it’s A ‘one

y’know, 30 minutes ago I may’ve said NP.. but after reading the article about how I can get a new ‘23 hybrid Corolla with zero miles (and a warranty!) for less that $2k more than this 4-year-old Hyundai with 69k miles? CP, all day long.

ND. Not because this is a bad car or anything, but because the Bolt costs a few grand more and can be had brand new with more capability. If you’re on the used market, a used Leaf will have similarly weak range vs the newest EVs, but is way cheaper. I don’t see a reason to spend $20k on this car.

4th gear - I work in the industry (business attraction) on the municipal side. Its a race to the bottom unfortunately. States like Michigan are throwing these companies 30 year tax abatements (pay no property taxes) in order to lure huge battery factories with thousands of employees to little town that will never be

Why was Beck even opening for Arcade Fire in the first place?  He has had a successful music career since the 90s he’s no loser.

I think it’s fine they let the actress have her natural hair color. Looks less fake, and it means the actress can make the character her own without any preconceived ideas about “this is how the character looks and acts.”

Yeah, my buddies and I pretty much had an “MST3k” session with that first Zombie Halloween. Probably the last one I enjoyed was either Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers or H5: The Revenge of... Oh, and if you haven’t seen it, I would recommend Halloween 3: Season of the Witch. The sole Halloween movie without

I mean...and here’s the thing, though: neither Adam Sandler nor Chris Farley were (or are, in Sandler’s case) particularly funny.

John Carpenters vision of the “Halloween” franchise was that each movie would have been a completely different story. The thread would have been them all happening on Halloween.

He said that Murray was mean to the comedians, not the “common people.”  Makes sense he wouldn’t be mean to Schneider.

But if you don’t order extra appetizers you can’t eat them.

Sure he hated you less, Rob.

I really don’t get why horror movies turn into franchises so quickly.  I never thought any of these killers had the staying power to sustain more then a film or two.   I much rather anthology horror because horror is more fun when it mixes things up, which is why its a shame that Halloween as an Anthology series never

Gonna be honest that, at the end of the day, I think Halloween 78 should have been a one and done movie.  Maybe with the exception of Halloween 3 because its just so silly and not like any of the other films

There’s always Halloween 3 Season of the Witch, which is how this franchise was supposed to go, before it got endlessly repetitive and boring.

This just confirms my suspicion that the 2018 Halloween should have been a one-and-done film rather than the first part of a trilogy.

After Halloween Kills? Not a single soul.

yeah the last movie was terrible, so I’m not expecting anything great.

Alright, be honest. Who’s expectations were all that high for this thing?
