This review scares me.

I watched and thoroughly enjoyed both, it’s possible!

Did you really call Michelle Yeoh a housewife? There’s nothing wrong with that but, dude, she owns a laundromat. That’s why she’s being audited. She doesn’t have much time to wife a house because she’s running a business and, yes, trying to keep a family together.

I’m reading that as just someone saying in a light-hearted, trash-talking tone. Like they’re at a sporting game. Not someone who’s trying to tear down another for the point of being mean spirited and insulting. So this is no big deal to me.

She’s talking an awful lot of shit for someone who recently championed Halloween Kills.

Can’t wait for the handful of crypto dorks to roll in here talking about how Kotaku never says anything nice about NFTs and no one understand their potential except for them and it’s all so unfair because how are they ever going to become fake crypto Pokémon pyramid scheme landlords if people know that it’s just a

They were not. But it appears they now are — at least in small numbers.

It has nothing to do with making my job easier (I don’t need it made easier, I love the challenges), but with creating an accurate record, which is important for everyone involved. I see expert witnesses who have literally been deposed or testified hundreds of times who can’t string two words together because no one

Lawyer of 10+ years here. Court is the best time to practice your poker face. No matter what is being said, keep a blank expression. Believe me, the judge sees every eye roll, every smirk, every shrug, and every anguished expression you make while the opposition is speaking, and it does not make you seem as charming

Without a doubt, it frequently does. Unfortunately, not everyone can show up looking like a white man.

I edit court reporter transcripts, so I’ll add one more thing. There is someone in the room writing everything that is said. So speak slowly; enunciate (especially with acronyms - so many letters sound the same!); don’t use a ton of fillers like um, uh, and like; spell names; and most important, don’t talk over anyone.

And most importantly, moments of levity do in fact exist in courtrooms. So if you feel any flatulence coming on, as is fairly common in moments of extreme stress, take my advice and wait until its quiet before employing the “let it rip” technique. Make no facial expressions, don’t turn your head, and watch as everyone

(whispers) “Buddy, the grift is the use for it

what can they actually be used for chief

Nah man you don’t get it man it’s like decentralized and shit, you know? Like, it’s like, there’s not like The Man telling us how to um...I mean shit it’s like decentralized dawg, know what I mean?

“Um, I would name one thing, but you’d have to be like super-super-smart like me to understand it, which you are not, so um I can’t tell you. Also its a secret”

However, as a technology, just like how when cloud servers first started, it doesn’t do anything that monolithic servers can’t already do. But as the time goes on and the companies decided it’s cheaper to outsource servers to be on the cloud, it is now the backbone of most of the technology.”

NAME. ONE.

That’s what the blockchain is. There are only a handful of instances where it’s useful, but in those instances, it’s one of the best technologies for that specific application.”

This is a very eloquent and rational-sounding rebuttal that avoids the usual name-calling and I thank you for it.
