It has been incredibly difficult in New York for people working in front of and behind the cameras. Production is still basically shut down. I have heard of exactly one yet to debut streaming show coming back at the end of August to finish up a few episodes left in its season. Apparently, they have reworked what they

I’m going to see Peninsula soon as well!

The show has a solid core of broken characters who’ve done bad things and have had bad things done to them, and are coming to grips with what they’ve done, who they are and who they ultimately want to be. The absurdity is fun and provides a comic book framework to everything but that core remains at the center. I

definitely. It has a good story and is well acted without ever taking itself too seriously.

A caveat about Doom Patrol is all its characters are trauma survivors and their arcs and episodes are largely about experiencing, processing, and confronting trauma. This is a major part of why it’s so great and you absolutely SHOULD watch it, but be prepared it’s not just absurd escapism.

Worth keeping watching?

if by the third season of The Good Place you still believe that it’s a way to escape reality, you’re not really watching the show. The conversations that show has prompted in my household about time, life, and morality just to name a few topics is a testament of how well that show broaches the subject matter.

Not very much aside from the aforementioned crossovers (which end up giving Arrow some good episodes, by the by). My advice if you dip into Legends: Watch the first two and the last three episodes of S1 then hit S2 and proceed regularly.

Praise Beebo!

I’m just thrilled this wasn’t a slideshow.

Mulan is actually $37. You’re subscribing to a subscription.

Some Apple fans will undoubtedly welcome the news, especially if they’re already happily ensconced within Apple’s walled garden

Presumably the movies that the article says will be $5 thereafter

No one’s shitting on Microsoft because their games service only runs on XBox and PC since.... that’s what the games are written for.

Not only that, iCloud Storage, Apple Music and Apple TV+ are available on other platforms already. I wouldn’t be shocked if Apple News+ came out on other platforms as well. So really, the only one that has zero chance is Apple Arcade because, well, its explicitly tied to the platform that the applications are written

I doubt the un-bundled prices will change, they are consistent with the market pricing for similar services.

One large popcorn - $55.99

I’m not sure what the particular criticism here is — every one of those services is already a subscription. Offering bundles should make them individually cheaper if you already have more than one, no? If not, you just stay with the unbundled versions. Personally, of all of those services, I only have Apple TV+, so

That’s often the way things work with bundles.
