I spent the whole season thinking that box was a gift *from* her father to Courtney and wondering why she never opened it.

I’m psyched for this, as I love stories about the R&GOC*, with the caveat that Ridley’s Everybody Smokes in Hell is - hands down - the worst book I’ve ever read.

That awkward moment when you find out one friend of a friend (well, you’ve all been hanging around chatting on the same forums for 20 years!) is a voicing a giant spider on the show, then you think another friend shows up as Kiss (Tourek), up there, but he isn’t.

Except....we’ve already seen Doom Patrol v2 in s1. That comic was where Jane, Danny, and Dorothy were introduced, then the others came back later to rejoin Cliff.

And at least on Sabrina it’s acknowledged in-story she’s a self-involved jerk and it comes back to bite her in the ass.

After years of people complaining about DC adaptations not matching the comics, we get a show that does and people still complain.

In the previous scene we saw that Brainwave said he was taking 5 minutes to go kill those kids.

The Sex Ghosts ( and the seX Men ) were the MVPs of this season. I’m not generally a fan of kids on tv, so the fact the whole season centered around Dorothy was kind of a bummer for me ( and the prosthetics really threw me off ), but damn is this show entertaining.

Huh! Well both good to know and yet now I worry about Doom Patrol’s future!

While it hasn’t officially been renewed, I certainly hope that the show is popular and profitable enough that a third season is pretty much inevitable whenever COVID goes the hell away and they can resume filming. (Dammit people, wear a mask! It’s the only way you’ll get more Doom Patrol!)
