That's an interesting program. I'm not sure if blocking people with a high amount of following is a good idea, because a high following number doesn't mean they aren't giving useful information.

Too bad they can't come up with a substitute that would work for sunny side up eggs. I love those!
I think voicemail is still important... it drives me bonkers when people call and don't leave a message, and I'm just left wondering if it was something important and I should call back, or if it wasn't anything important at all.
I'm surprised that it's an even split. I email at all hours of the day.
That would be a good addition to prevent too much time spent on Facebook apps.
I never stay in one room... after a bit, I get irritated with the same mess, and have to move to a different room, almost to re-energize my mind.
I use a self-hosted WordPress for my public blogging site ([kikolani.com]), and for personal journaling, I use Open Office Writer with a password protect, depending on the topic.
That's a fun room, although it looks a little too "busy" to actually get any work done. I have a bit of an ADD problem, and I would find myself looking around at everything instead of focusing.
I should use that on Facebook... sometimes I get sucked into the applications and find myself still there long after I wanted to be back to work.
I still have not tried any desktop apps for Twitter, but this one definitely sounds useful. I spend part of my day looking up the same things, and it would be nice to see them automatically refresh.
Thanks for the tip on Macworld magazine @McWhammer. I just signed up for it too!
I might need it soon... my laptop has some kind of virus/spyware that neither Spybot or Kaspersky can find. It hijacks my Firefox when I click on a search result in Google and takes me to a completely different website.
I keep my social network email notifications filtered into certain folders, that way I don't feel overwhelmed. When I'm ready to focus on a particular network, I just pop open that folder and go through the requests and messages.
I didn't even get the 404 error, just a blank white page. I wonder how the Google profiles will work with common names, like 100's of people registered as John Smith.
I wonder if Google checks for duplicate profile content. I have a personal Gmail acocunt, and one I created just for my website, and both Google profiles are linked to the same websites, social networks, etc. I hope that doesn't cause a problem.
I barely read the comments... if the video owner lets them go un-moderated, there is always a jack@ss somewhere in the bunch who will say something completely uncalled for and disgusting and ruin a perfectly good video watching experience.
Who would have thought the hamburger is the biggest consumer. Tack on the driving time to McDonalds and the soda, and you have drive-through environmental destroyers. :/
This would be a good investment, for those who could afford it, especially for people who are just not sure what they want to do. Make sure it is someone reputable with references, and not someone who is going to give you horoscope-like advice that fits almost anyone, but doesn't really help you individually.
That's a nifty trick that I'll have to try on my digital camera sometime. The batteries are just dying to stick in that thing as long as possible.
Sounds like a nice little app indeed.
