"musical guilt is what killed Kurt"
Interestingly, "All My Life" and "Times Like These" are sorta the blueprint for the type of songs they've been doing since: the aggressive, but calculated arena rocker and the earnest MOR rock ballad, respectively. (I could do w/o the latter, but that's just me.)
As his band’s videos can attest to, he can get a little too comfortable with silliness. And more often than not the Foos’ songs can be a tad basic and plain. (Exhibit A: the bulk of the FF's 21st century output.) But the guy has written a few gems over the
years—especially on the first three albums—and he’s one of rock…
Those FF albums you own, are they the first three? 'Cause that's where the Foos and I sorta parted ways: I was a huge fan, bought the first 3 records and saw them on the tours for each one, but I only like a handful of songs—literally, not more than half a dozen—from the albums released since then.
Yes.
You see, as I experienced actual sex more and more frequently, with women willing to go to bed with me—God bless 'em each and every one—porn became of less and less interest to me for some reason. Weird, huh?
26 titles and The Legend of Nigger Charley [1972] or Boss Nigger [1974] did not make the cut?
While working at Tower Records in NYC during the early '90s, I recognized porn star and native daughter Heather Hunter as she did some shopping in the store one day. Since at the time I was a major porn fiend, there was no way I was passing up the opportunity to get her autograph, so I immediately approached her.
If you do a HateSong on low hanging fruit like this one, you wasted a HateSong.
Yes.
Ferguson could be a great alternative to the game shows and "those celebrity news shows that all seem exactly the same." I'm also thinking that in order to succeed, they'd have to give him a big push so that his show stands out among the dense competition.
I dunno, before that he had Battletruck aka Warlords of the 21st Century, House II, and Camp Cucamonga, on his resumé. (Plus "Dancing with the Stars", ha!)
He would come back from the dead and strangle them both.
You could say that Cazale had the greatest batting average in this history of Hollywood, with a minimum 5 movies to qualify.
Pacino, who was in 3 of those 5 and was a dear friend of Cazale's, is quoted as saying, "All I wanted to do was work with John for the rest of my life. He was my acting partner."

"lucha libre"
…instead of painting the romance as a grotesquely pedophilic and incestuous turn of events, the film treats it like an unfortunate professional speed bump, as well as a natural manifestation of its protagonist’s devil-may-care attitude.
Four movies from 1980 and one from '83?
Don't get your drawers in a knot, not criticizing the list just adding to it, bub. And aside from the last 2, they ALL predate 2006. Thanks for playing.
