Theatre? Yes.
Musical theatre? Hells no.

Um, this tune was written as a Springsteen parody…

The sad thing is he chose a song with so much going against it and instead of picking it apart we got gossip. And baseless insinuations of misogyny.

Never ceases to amaze how the rich and/or celebrities invariably find someone to generously come to their rescue, while plenty of hard-working folks with no powerful patronage just have to face destitution and/or jail. Luck is the greatest asset in life, huh?

The 'Green Album' over Pinkerton any day of the week and 3 times on Sunday. Period.

To go after critics in thinly-veiled onscreen putdowns is pathetic; most of these entries did even worse.

"Harrison … had a stronger, more consistent solo career than either John Lennon or Paul McCartney."

There are so many flicks like The Fiendish Plot Of Dr. Fu Manchu where you just have to wonder "Who OK'd this? Who thought it was a good idea?" A t least Helen Mirren's legs look delicious in that short skirt she wears while doing a musical number.

Um, Almodóvar, anyone?

Big XTC fan here but surprised that someone as witty as Andy Partridge could write such a clumsy, ham-fisted and terribly lacking in nuance lyric such as that of "Dear God". It's as profound as that old chestnut "If there is a God why is there so much suffering in the world?" Ugh.
