From what I remember, Apple had nothing to do with pulling it. It was VLC's owners who pulled it because whoever submitted it wasn't the actual owner of VLC.

Did you guys test it on items where someone might use NeverWet like clothing, shoes, or an umbrella? Seems like that'd be a more realistic test.
