I find it really funny that "Action RPGs are the future" despite the fact that they've been around basically as long as turn-based RPGs. I think the success of XCOM has shown that the idea that players hate turn based combat is wholly misplaced.

That... almost changed my mind. It was certainly a well crafted trailer filled with action, however the gameplay immediately reeked of two things. First and foremost it looks like a pretty blatant rip off of Monster Hunter. Which may or may not be true, as I'm not exactly well versed on Monster Hunter. However I…
