I agree with that comment — she's not actually shown any interest in knowing him better except physically. She doesn't ask questions about him… at all. And that's really her fault and Lacey even dropped that kind of comment (which I thought was really for the sake of Matty's character and defending the relationship.)

Collin really just offers an "out." That's really all I've seen him to be for her. He hasn't genuinely opened up to her, even though they've had very intimate moments… we still know very little about him and his feelings regarding his split with Angelique. Jenna spills almost every time they're together about her ex

Honestly, she doesn't seem hopeless or showing the symptoms of a person with suicidal tendencies. What she does display is knowledge of her crappy, self-imposed situation and acknowledges a solution ("a big fat sorry"). She's lost everything at this point — even down to her peerenting mother's trust. This is literally

Dogs are dogs first, being a pet is secondary. It's like leaving food out on the counter and expecting them not to go for it. I appreciate this aspect of the show because Collin and Jenna's relationship has been largely instinct and hormonally driven.

It felt like an incredibly visceral response. For someone who has endured a lot of abuse, to finally have that one-liner that just makes Jenna's whole world feel like sitting in a slow-motion scene of a house collapsing on her — SO GRATIFYING. Fantastic.
