im guessing microsoft will patent the picture pattern unlock that is currently used on windows 8 developer preview and hopefully in future windows phone versions

im torn between asus zenbook ux31 and lenovo u300s. suggestions anyone?

im not hater though, i'll use a google service if it's the best. i.e. google translate is the best translate service currently, so i use it. but there are other services that i think are better than google so i use those.

this is kind of why i ditched google for bing. i know y'all don't seem to care for bing, but for me, it's simple and easy to use.

I highly doubt this is the lumia 900. i highly doubt this thing is even real, because at about 12 seconds you'll see the extremely old Windows Mobile logo. if this thing were recent, let alone legitimate, then it would've used the current square Windows Phone tile logo.

what about them trying to trademark multi touch? that's something that, last time i checked, was a standard. true it's not patenting, but trademarking is similar in a way that they want to own and control a part of the concept of multi touch. in this case, they want to own its name (patenting would own the whole

this is exactly the problem! they just keep patenting their IDEAS. It's like they had a dream of a new gesture and they wake up and call their patent lawyers. they don't even have a working model (as far as we know that is). seriously, it's really pathetic

sometimes, those who arrive late to a party are the best of them all ;)

yep. kinect can do this already!

this is so true. my friend's SGS2 lags occasionally while my focus is so smooth you'd think it was from the future

in case you haven't noticed, this is the very reason why the update process is not slow and careful.. MS did not want an issue like the issue that Apple is having right now.. and trust me, mango is WORTH it. @giantoctopus, FORCE IT! seriously! keep trying! it took me a lot of patience, but it worked eventually and it

hey gizmodo, there's this thing called skydrive. it's awesome. 25GB of space. do whatever you want with it. heck, don't even use microsoft product aside from hotmail! it's completely free

skydrive. you don't have to use apple devices to use it. you don't even need microsoft devices to use it, just a live/hotmail email account and BAM you're set.

working on it ;)

the very fact that apple copied the notification system of android shows how NOT innovative apple is. also, icloud? ever heard of the 4 year old SkyDrive from microsoft that offers 25GB of free -do whatever the hell you want with it- space? chyea innovation by apple right?

the reason why i seem hostile is because in my social circle, almost every iphone user is shallow and label-conscious.

i don't know about you, but airplane tickets, doctor's appointments and retirement planning is infinitely more important than preordering a phone.. it's not planning ahead, it's trying to be the first one to say "I GOT IPHONE 4S"

correct, which was only released a couple weeks ago. i do agree with aquaclear, developers need to get moving. a lot of apps are still pre-mango :(

hallelujah! windows phone apps in gizmodo!
