really nice video! can't wait to get my own windows 8 tablet! hopefully a nokia one :P

I admit, the first iphone was definitely an innovation. It DID pioneer the modern smartphone we know today. And i think the idea of apps was also pioneered by apple. Kudos to them on those two things. but everything since then has not been innovation. innovation is when you push the boundaries of what we think is

apple patent would make it even harder to get your *IPHONE* replaced. #corrections

What the hell are you talking about? i said that Google Docs canNOT format like Skydrive Docs (WHICH IS ALSO FREE). google docs CANNOT do everything MS office can do.

Gmail is not far superior. i've used both hotmail and gmail, and hotmail is just as fast and even has some features i like that gmail doesn't have (at least it didn't the last i used it). maps, also debatable, i've used both bing and google maps and for me they perform similarly. Docs, i see no point when people can

LOL

while i think the videos are just silly and borderline pathetic, they're not lying. all of MS' videos about google had relevant and accurate information.

the buttons are not easily pressed you know.. it's a two stage button. the first stage normally focuses the image, and the second takes the picture. a second stage press and hold is required to unlock the camera from the lock screen.

yea, like what StealeesWheel said, you have to press and hold it down and then it opens the camera. Also, if you have a password on your phone, accessing the camera thru the dedicated camera button will allow you to see the pictures you take, but you are unable to see pictures from the camera roll that were taken

My windows phone can do this by pressing my dedicated camera button. I'm glad MS thought out of the box and made this a requirement for all windows phones

great article

and it wouldn't emulte x86 in a battery efficient way. I'm assuming that MS is trying to keep the experience with Windows ARM smooth, fast, and long lasting by controlling what apps are available

great interview. i read the whole thing. i want to thank gizmodo for this high quality writing and honest journalism. i haven't seen this in a while, and i honestly cannot wait for windows 8. i can't wait to grab a windows 8 tablet and just fly through that interface with my thumbs.

another day, another ALL NEW IMPOSSIBLY FAST HARDCORE SUPER DUALCORE android phone.. sigh.. where's my lumia 900

but nokia said themselves that the curve was on purpose to encourage swiping sideways [www.youtube.com] no, i haven't seen a lumia 800. from what many users said, i gather that the phone's polycarbonate body feels great in hand. thus, i extrapolate that the phone should not be covered by a case. i DO know that it

i think this concept applies the best to nokia's lumia 800 and 900. it's sacrilegious to cover those phones

well said! and i agree even more about the donations part. MS has long been involved in giving back to its community through volunteer and charity work. from what i understand, there's an incentive to all MS employees to do some sort of charity work while they do their job.

i suppose, but hey at least you're not paying thousands of dollars for schooling (unless you're in a private school)!
