Ya, no idea what he’s on about... this is a great scene. The “it’s too late for me” makes it possible for him to turn later. This scene is exactly what’s missing from the prequels.

The only reason why we oldies (25 and over) think that the prequels suck and the OT was the bee’s knees is because of nostalgia.

The scene where luke turns himself over to vader in ROTJ is a great scene. It’s the first glimpse of vader having a glimmer of good underneath.

I was a kid when the prequels released and I didn’t give a toss about them, but I loved the originals.

It’s worth $12-15 of my money and 2-3 hours of my time to find out, and they would really, really have to fuck up to create a worse movie than Attack of the Clones.
