Of course it’s peacocking. He apparently ordered the attack WHILE HAVING DINNER with President Xi of China. Could you imagine the atmosphere at that table afterwards?

What are you doing in there, knitting a sweater? I get ready in the morning in 10 minutes flat. Turn shower on, pee and brush teeth while it’s warming up, wash quckly, dry, put clothes on, leave house.

Take it up with Google snowflake.

All I know is what Google’s Project Sunroof is showing. It would cost me $16k over 20 years to have Solar Panels due to the upfront costs. I have heavy tree coverage over the back half of my house, as does a lot of Georgia. Eastern Pine trees are a large % of the native flora and they can grow up to 160 feet tall

What’s wrong about my statement? Are you talking about Atlanta or somewhere else that’s sunnier? I have zero doubts solar works in certain places that get enough sun and aren’t covered by 60-100 foot tall trees like my house is, but the efficiency isn’t there yet for a large chunk of the US.

That’s great, but you live in Florida. Even here in Atlanta Google estimates that at best I’ll break even over 20 years. At current efficiencies there is a vast amount of the US that simply doesn’t get enough sunlight for residential rooftop installations. Solar is the future no doubt, but it’s simply not there yet.

Because traditional energy is still so cheap. You’d be hard pressed to make your money back, much less benefit.

I disagree. It’s fully possible for one person to be an active pursuer and the other to get caught up in the moment. Sure, the non-pursuer can back away, but when it’s right in front of you it’s much harder. It’s the same reason you don’t keep desserts in your house if you’re dieting, it’s easier to resist if it

No, it’s about not putting yourself in a situation where infidelity could occur. He didn’t say anything about a dinner with two women, because then the intimate potential is diminished in non-binary events. This whole arrangement is probably because there has been cheating before and this is the agreement his wife

But how is every member of Congress who voted for invasion, including Democrats such as Schumer and Feinstein, also not on that list of War Criminals?

He DIDN’T think she deserved the right to marry. How do you know he hasn’t changed his views? Remember, Hillary also didn’t think Ellen had the right to marry in the early 00's while Trump supposedly DID think she had the right to marry. People change.

You must be young, because a lot of commenters here were alive when Carter was POTUS. While a charming man with a big heart, he was by far the worst President since WWII and that includes Nixon.

Anyone who graduates from both Yale and Harvard is not stupid. He may put on a great “aw shucks” face, but that man isn’t stupid in the slightest. While he was a poor orator, he was very charismatic and a lot sharper than folks gave him credit for.

Prop 8 passed in California. California for heavens sake. To say there was ample push back against it at the time is an understatement. In regards to now, 8 years later, I think the vast majority of the electorate realizes it was idiotic to oppose anyways. It didn’t actually mean anything (that and more and more

I have no idea why you referred to me: you have no idea what my voting record is. I’d have voted Sanders if he’d been the nominee and as it stood I voted Johnson in a heavy Trump state (he won by 15%). If I lived in a battleground state I would have voted Clinton out of necessity but since I didn’t, I figured the

I’m not being disingenuous at all: Democrat’s set the most recent standard with Reid changing the rules in 2013. The only reason we’re here is because Democrats forced through the ACA through reconciliation in the first place when all public polls showed a consistent majority against it. While I agree that Universal

And it has consequences, which we’re seeing now. Striking down Jim Crow laws is one thing, getting pissy because the other side won’t approve judicial nominees is entirely another.

Up until the past 8 years both sides were very much concerned with the established processes and procedures. It was a gentleman’s agreement of sorts.

To quote the Wikipedia article on the Nuclear Option:

That’s assuming the Republicans don’t rewrite the Senate rules to get rid of the filibuster. Maybe they won’t, but they can any time they want.

I brought up Obama because he’s not Trump and might have a modicum of concern about the black community, not only because he appeared to be a decent man, but also because he was black himself.

I do find it... interesting... how everything you mention regarding his treatment black issues is earily similar to what white
