But awful stuff like this happens to regular ol’ actors and actresses.  They’re a public figure, public figures have that risk because they’re public figures.

This is no different than any other public figure.  They chose a profession that puts them on public display.  It doesn’t mean they should be responsible, but it does mean that they should expect it.

I don’t understand WHY they did this.  Not that it would have been OK if he’d been suspended multiple games, but it was one game.  Their season wasn’t going to be ruined over one game.  Not only are they a-holes, they’re idiots too.

The question is did they do it to male reporters too. Hard to claim sexual harassment when everyone is being treated the same. (Note: I don’t know the answer, just asking the question.)

A civil lawsuit doesn’t bear the burden of innocent until proven guilty. OJ was acquitted of murder but had to pay Browns family because he was found guilty in civil court. On the contrary- it’s not always assumed that when a criminal trial preceded the civil trial. In this case the accuser is still within the her rights to accuse him in criminal court yet is choosing not to. This gives the notion that she’s out for the money a little more credence.

I have no idea how I would react as a man much less how a woman would or should react. That said, the timing of this coupled with the fact that after her first alleged assault she willingly got on a plane and traveled to his house is really suspicious.  I know this is a civil case, but unless there’s some other…
