I learnt how to crochet as a child - 8, 9 maybe? It was a cultural thing, young girls were supposed to learn it and do a whole bundle for their trousseau. Let me tell you, for me it was just excruciatingly boring, even though I got to be very profficient. I do some crochet now, but it's still not my favoured hobby.

The detailing is so intricate. I love it! The photo does not do her work justice. Check out the other stuff she sells. Now those photos do her justice! I've been looking forward to receiving this! I am not disappointed :]

I just received my owl pot-holder that I ordered from Etsy (it looks way better in person! Promise!).

Ladies (and one very cool dude) got together at a Starbucks here in Nippon and did something called a "Creative Rally" where people just did whatever creative stuff that they liked to do. I wrote, of course.

I forgot it was Mark Shrayber day today! I went out and had a life in the beautiful California sun. Well, happy belated Mark Shrayber day to everyone!

I could watch those two forever.
