You live a very nice existence and I am quite envious.

I think you're right, but I don't think it's as blatant as the rest of the points made in the song itself, which can be misinterpreted.
Wish she pushed it further so it was blatant satire. Right now it's "let's give her the benefit of the doubt..." b/c this component doesn't seem to be in the song itself, only in the video. <— begs the question of why be ambiguous if it's satire. Or mildly ambiguous..."ambiguish"?

And people still call them sluts, skanks, whores, etc. More recently it's changing, but let's not pretend that slut shaming isn't constantly happening (especially for non-pop divas).
I always liked Jenny more since she looks 14 or 15 compared to 80s Barbie's 35? 30? Idk. (although that did make Barbie believable as a doctor, not looking like a teen). It's interesting that in Japan a teenaged doll worked better than an adult.
Was about to respond with the same sentence. I'll assume we're secret twins and high five you (in my mind).
Can we all agree that Sia should write all songs? Yes? Fantastic.
Love Celine. Takes me back to my tween ballet days en pointe, twirling like crazy to Let's Talk About Love.
Ugh, John Stossel, give me a fucking break.
High five!
Well agreed.
On a side note, that gif looks like he's saying "We need Bam Bam".
Ugh people.
When I was 12 I was teased for wearing "boys' shoes" for gym class. Pretty sure they were my shoes and I've never identified as a boy, so they were clearly a girl's shoes. They cost less than "girls' shoes" and were awesome because British Knights were awesome.
Had also been teased for wearing an old pair of…
Make 2014 the year of Captain Eagle, as I am now intrigued.
Mayonnaise for dipping cauliflower in?
No, Lena..no..Ranch dressing if you're going to cover cauliflower in ooze.
Working artist, full-time and often over — as it turns out, art isn't easy and doesn't happen in a couple minutes.
However, I can understand it being annoying when people using their profession as an excuse for not cooking, cleaning, etc. 40-60 working hours weekly, and time is still found to cook, clean, meet basic…
Grew up with my mom cooking every meal (pretty much — dad did once in a while — v. old school family).
Started cooking for myself as a teen and more so as my dietary needs changed (lactose intolerance..eventually vegetarian).
Mr. Kickpop and I cook most nights. Saturdays tend to be takeaway and Sundays are with family.…
Really hoping Etsy doesn't become ebay or storenvy. I miss what the site was from 2008-2010 (when the forums were super active and artists hung out there), but it's understandable that they broaden their restrictions as many small businesses have grown on there (or some...or few...or a whole bunch..whatever).
I don't…
YES! Oh, now I can properly look forward to this movie.
Same here. I found it easier to watch the first one at home on a smaller screen — it was such a headache in the theater. Excited for the second, but damn it will be disappointing if they repeat that "style" for the second. x.x Could not get into it in the theater.
Dear Jason Jones: Thanks for promoting that stigma of mental illness. Sometimes people are just terrible and not mentally ill.
You are not alone in this. Often it just reminds me that while I'm having a lovely time by myself, I'd also like Mr. Kickpop to join me at that moment.
