I’m incredibly excited to watch this and am rooting for this movie to succeed. I’m a big fan of Kim’s Convenience, a big fan of Simu Liu, a big fan of Awkwafina, and a big fan of the MCU telling more diverse stories.

I feel like this is overdoing the cataclysmic events a bit much.  Thanos already did the snap that killed off half the universe, I think Marvel would benefit from focusing more on the smaller, character-driven stories right now.

Sure he is, the “experiment” is not the movie itself, but the release format. First to theaters, then after 45 days to streaming. This is a huge test for Disney, which is why he framed it that way to the investors.

His job is to make the shareholders money.  

It is blindingly obvious the “experiment” is the release schedule and while I sympathise with the actor being sensitive (with justification) to anti-asian prejudice, this kind of knee-jerk outrage only harms the cause - and ultimately, potentially, the film as well. Sometimes something said has no subtext, no hidden…

Seemed the “experiment” was about the release, not the film or those involved being experiments, or whatever this actor is implying. Here I was thinking this comment was totally innocuous, and pretty straight forward, common sense would be able to figure out the meaning, guess not. This seems like a painfully dumb…
