I know this is crazy, and will never happen. But, an EV with a “manual” gearbox shouldn’t be impossible, and I think might be kinda neat. Imagine taking your new 2025 Subaru WRX with the most perfectly weighted manual that simulates the sensation of gear changes, except it’s just the computer controlling the torque…

Can reaffirm this. WRX easily fits. The others (Focus/VW)are super tight and you loose a fair amount of front space. I found this odd as they all have similar rear interior leg room measurements.

Totally agree. I’ve had a WRX for a couple years now. Switch to winter tires every November and the thing is pretty dang surefooted. It’s been essentially unflappable with the nannies on.

While these tips are great. The best thing you can do to learn how to drive with impaired traction is.......going out and driving when you’ll have impaired traction. Which is the one thing that’s under emphasized here.

This is a nationwide problem. It disproportionally affects african americans, but it effects all races, demographics, and regions. This is an american problem. If there were as many videos of white folks being improperly shot...it might actually show all those people that turn their backs on the black community…

I have a 2015 WRX. I fit two Recaro convertible seats in the back. With a roof rack, and a roof top bag...it is absolutely a great family car. So much so that my Wife an I take every excuse to take the WRX on short/medium distance trips and leave the Forester at home.
